- Robust CTE/STEM offerings, including construction, metal shop, welding, culinary arts, business, computer science, and agricultural science
- Rich arts, music and athletic programs
- Dual-credit program that offers simultaneous college credits at a reduced rate for students enrolled in eligible high school courses
- A Dual Language Immersion program at Hawks View Elementary
- Pre-Kindergarten offerings at Hawks View Elementary and Middleton Elementary
In the fall of 2020, the new Sherwood High School campus opened, a 73-acre campus providing students with state-of-the-art academic, STEM, art, trade education, and athletics facilities, and designed to increase student capacity at the high school level for years to come. Additional facilities projects in recent years have increased enrollment capacity at all levels, and brought increased efficiency and innovation to our support services and operations district-wide.
In addition to excellent facilities, the District is one of the largest employers in the City of Sherwood, with approximately 600 teachers and staff members committed to serving the needs of Sherwood students and families. Whether it’s in the classroom, on a school bus, in the lunchroom or behind the scenes, the supportive and hardworking staff of the District contribute each and every day to the success of our students and schools.
