Previous high school coaching experience recommended.

The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program and will be responsible for a sub-varsity team.

The applicant must be able to display the following attributes:

  • A demonstratied ability to lead young student-athletes toward academic and athletic excellence
  • A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Skilled in organzation, time management and a commitment to the vision of the Sherwood Athletic Program
  • A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques invoved in high school softball
  • The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of softball throughout the community
  • A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achievement for all student-athletes in the program
