Position Start Date:  February 28, 2022

Previous High School coaching experience is recommended.  The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program.  

The applicant must be able to display the following attributes:

• A commitment to high ehtical and professional standards
• A demonstrated ability to lead young student-athletes toward academic and athletic excellence.
• A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Skilled in organization, time management and a commitment to the visionh of the Sherwood Athletic Program.
• A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques involved in high school softball.
• The ability to communicate coaching philosophy to younger athletes.
• The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of softball throughout the community.
