Previous High School coaching experience is recommended. The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program.
The applicant must be able to display the following attributes:
- A commitment to high ehtical and professional standards
- A demonstrated ability to lead young student-athletes toward academic and athletic excellence.
- A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Skilled in organization, time management and a commitment to the visionh of the Sherwood Athletic Program.
- A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques involved in high school softball.
- The ability to communicate coaching philosophy to younger athletes.
- The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of softball throughout the community.
